The short version: PINNR collects only what it needs to operate. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
PINNR is a map-based event discovery platform operated by R.SHE LLC, a Florida limited liability company. When we say "PINNR", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean R.SHE LLC.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use PINNR at pinnrevents.com.
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the Platform effectively.
We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or precise real-time GPS location without your explicit permission.
We use your information solely to operate and improve PINNR. Specifically:
- To create and maintain your account
- To display relevant events in your city
- To power social features like following and private event invites
- To send account-related emails (verification, password reset)
- To moderate content and maintain Platform safety
- To understand how the Platform is used and improve it
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with advertisers. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or target you with ads.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database and authentication platform. Supabase stores data on infrastructure hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
PINNR uses a small number of trusted third-party services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (supabase.com/privacy)
- Mapbox — map rendering and tile delivery. Mapbox may collect information about map tile requests, including approximate location (mapbox.com/legal/privacy)
- Vercel — website hosting and deployment (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy)
We do not sell or share your personal data with any third parties beyond what is required to operate these services.
PINNR may request access to your device's location to show you events near you. This is optional — you can use PINNR by manually selecting a city without granting location permission.
If you grant location permission, your approximate location is used only to center the map and suggest relevant events. We do not continuously track or store your precise location history.
Mapbox, our mapping provider, may process location-related data as part of rendering map tiles. Please refer to Mapbox's privacy policy for details.
PINNR uses browser local storage and session storage to maintain your login session, remember your city preference, and store invite tokens for private events. These are essential for the Platform to function.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We do not use cookie consent banners because we do not engage in tracking-based advertising.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — you can view your profile and account information at any time
- Correction — you can update your profile information through your account settings
- Deletion — you can delete your account through your profile settings, which removes your personal data
- Data portability — you may request a copy of your data by emailing us
- Opt-out — you can stop using PINNR and request account deletion at any time

PINNR is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has created an account, we will terminate that account and delete associated data promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PINNR after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
